Result of the fiscal year 2008

Today we announced financial data of the fiscal year 2008.  In consolidated basis, annual sales were 6,941MM JPY whilst operating profit and current profit were 1,915MM JPY and 1,930MM JPY respectively.(with flying colors, frankly speaking)

On the other hand, as for this ongoing fiscal year 2009, our projection that was disclosed simultaneously, is 9,000MM JPY for consolidated sales volume, 2,900MM JPY for operating profit and current profit(before tax), the last two figures of which are both 50% more than the previous year's ones.

The only thing we want to stick  to and we are determined to promise is standing for consumers and our users by providing them with useful information for shopping, traveling, restaurants or whatsoever.  By keeping this, I do believe we can acquire broader and deeper supports from them that are essential for our business.

タカダワタル的ゼロ

伝説のフォークシンガー高田渡氏が亡くなってから三年が経ちました。週末よく吉祥寺のいせやで昼間から飲んだくれて、でも知り合いが散歩する犬を見つけると噛まれることなど恐れないかのように、ぎゅっと抱きしめていた彼の姿が今も僕の脳裏に焼きついています。

さて、彼の生前の様子を記録した新たな映画「タカダワタル的ゼロ」が出来たようです。前作「タカダワタル的」のＤＶＤも所蔵している僕としては、是非観たいと思っています。そういえばカカクコム社を見てもらっている監査法人の公認会計士の先生の一人からも「高田渡、大好き！」「田中は趣味が良い」などと褒めて貰ったことがあります。オヤジ世代のカリスマ的存在なのかもしれません。試写会で観た方はエイガ・ドット・コムにレビューを寄せて頂けると大変助かります。（その先生は公認会計士になる前にミュージシャンを目指していた由）

周りを見渡すと、世間は長く続いたデフレ時代から原材料費の高騰などに起因するインフレの時代に突入しつつあるように感じます。そういえば高田渡氏も「値上げの歌」というのを残しています。痛烈な風刺のきいた一曲で、御奨めです。
